What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnotherapy is a safe and effective form of therapy that harnesses the power of the mind to create positive change. By tapping into the subconscious mind, Hypnotherapy can help individuals overcome a variety of issues, including weight loss, smoking cessation, stress and anxiety, and more.
What hypnosis is not:
It is not mind control. You cannot be made to do anything you are not willing to do. It is not a miracle cure-all that requires no participatory effort. Hypnosis will optimize your own efforts. You have the potential to reap tremendous results. However, your own dedication to your improvement and readiness to create new behavior is imperative to see the results you desire. While there are many myths and misconceptions, Hypnosis is a very real process that can be used as a therapeutic tool. Hypnosis has been shown to have medical and therapeutic benefits.
Prior to your session, I will email you an intake assessment & Zoom link. This assessment will test how your brain takes in information to make hypnosis more effective for you. You will as will be asked to describe the issue you’d like to address in your session. This is an opportunity to define how this issue specifically manifests in your body so we can begin to unpack your current challenges and identify the outcome(s) you desire. We will discuss your assessment before beginning the relaxing Hypnosis session that will leave you feeling calm, relaxed, and joyful.
